new exhibit

Born in Zarasai, Lithuania, an area of 300 lakes and 8 rivers from which the longest one is called Šventoji, the Holly one. This land of many man-made mounds from early Stone Age traces Seliai people from Baltic culture and previous Finno-Ugric one.
For many thousand year this indigenous sedentary culture protected its nature  from Western crusaders and Eastern occupants.

Vilma Mare fled Soviet oppression in early 1990. In USA she learned some business and profit manners, continued studying art and cultural history. Mare promotes endangered or extinct cultures starting with the culture of her own and fine tunes her branding of 'Baltic style' as an alternative dress to military classic notched collar business suit.
